Support + Recognition

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Human Rights Initiative.  They fight for the rights of our clients.  They provide vital services and caring relationships.  HRI is dedicated to providing our volunteers with the necessary support and materials they need in order to perform their assignments.  Volunteers should feel free to let their supervisor know if there is anything they need in order to provide and maintain stellar services to our clients.

Because we value our volunteers, we will have recognition events from time-to-time.  We encourage our volunteers to take part in these events and to provide feedback on these activities.  As mentioned in the Record Keeping chapter, evaluations and other data provided to HRI may be analyzed by the staff and steering committees in order for HRI to create recognition programs that are meaningful to the volunteers.
