Katharine Brunson
Legal Assistant kbrunson@hrionline.org vCard Katharine graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2008 with a B.A. in psychology and minors in political science, African studies, and human rights. In fact, she is the first graduate of the human rights department and recipient of SMU's William K. McElvaney Award in Social Justice. Katharine's travels have taken her across the world - to six continents - and have provided her with a compassionate perspective and cultural awareness. She joined HRI first as an intern and, ultimately, as a staff member upon graduating from SMU in May 2008. Katharine serves as a legal assistant supporting the Asylum Program and the Women and Children's Program.
