Legal Assistant: Women & Children's Program

 

Evangelina Barreda is a Legal Assistant for the Women and Children's Program, which provides free legal services to victims and families of domestic abuse, trafficking and violent crimes. Evangelina joined HRI in August 2011. Prior to joining HRI, Evangelina was a legal assistant and case manager for Garcia & Garcia, PLLC in Austin. Evangelina has also interned for the Texas Attorney General's Office with investigators in the Child Support Division. She graduated in 2009 from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
